So many of these songs and musicians have played the role of linchpin in countless mix tapes I’ve made for both myself and for friends in recent years, months and weeks; I felt that an amassing of them might act as a fair primer, and perhaps even qualify as a cheapie mission statement of sorts. I am also too lazy at the moment to more finely articulate what it is I am attempting to do with this blog.

That noted, the collection above illustrates adequately enough the musical grounds I most often inhabit, and displays a fair cross-section of the sorts of songmakers you can come to expect around these parts from here on out.
