Vampire Weekend in A Whale’s Vagina

Vampire Weekend will be playing their music* at The Casbah tonight, performing on a bill that also features native San Diegans Grand Ole Party. The two bands are in the midst of a US tour that currently sees them scaling the Pacific coast before one final bolt on through the Midwest. I’d suggest giving the show a gander, if you’re a fan of cordial punk and happen to find yourself in America’s Finest City this evening.

Here’s a single glimpse into the sound of each band, in songs reflective of what you can expect to hear on their rookie LPs (which are both set to be released early in the coming year).
